Welcome to k9knitknots where every item is handmade and one of a kind.

k9knitknots was created in 2010 but was on hiatus for 6 years due to work/family commitments but I'm back doing what I enjoy the most, crafting one of a kind items.

Originally I was inspired by my 3 cocker spaniels to find a very sturdy, unique and colorful collar. I started crafting macrame beaded collars and loved all the bright color combinations. Made with parachute cord, each collar is exceptionally strong.

In the shop you'll also find cozy knitted dog collar covers to fit over your dog's regular collar and there's a number of fun and colorful knitted dog collar accessories including flowers, butterflies, bows and bandanas.

In a small corner of the shop you'll find my handmade mini carpet rug handbags made in the traditional rug hooking manner, each made with hand dyed wool strips.
